Wordplay

This morning, I was helping Andy get dressed, Sylvia was crawling around, and the gate at the top of the stairs was closed. All of the sudden, I realized Shawn had gone downstairs and left the gate open, and I thought: "SYLVIA." Then I realized she was downstairs with him, not crawling around undetected and just about to fall down the flight of stairs, and took a deep breath and said Man, that scared the crap out of me. A minute later, Andy said "Daddy scared the CRABS out of you???" He thought it was hilarious.
