What's this blog about?
Like an online photo album, my aim is to update our family and friends, particularly about Andy and Sylvia. We don't get to spend as much time as we'd like with loved ones in Seattle. We have immediate family in MI, PA, HI and OR that we see just once or twice a year. And our friends are scattered across the country (and some other countries) in a sort of archeological representation of our past academic and professional endeavors. So this is a place for those both close and far to keep up with our family. We hope it makes the distance and time disappear!

Dear Cherise: I can´t to resist (sorry if this verb it isn´t in the correct context)the temptation of write you when I see first page of your blog and I look at that picture where Andy and Sylvia are a few months ago and then I see what big they are today!!!
Well. Or I write in Spanish and you don´t understand me,or I write you in my horrible English... In this case,I try to do the best I can do it for you understand me,but when I write,I do it thinking as in Spanish.
