First weeks of June

Even though Andy has his own, appropriately-sized guitar, he loves playing on his dad's. I noticed the other day that he's started reaching up periodically to "tune" the guitar -- something he must have picked up by watching Shawn. What a little mimic. It's moments like that when I feel very motivated to watch my language!

I was working at the dining table when I heard a shuffle sound and looked up to see Andy in Shawn's slippers. His shirt, which is hard to see in this photo, says "I think my name is 'no no' but nana calls me 'sweetie'. A gift from nonna, of course!

Risa and Drew came in from Detroit and continued their travels to Hawaii and then home to American Samoa. Andy got pretty attached to his Auntie Risa during her visit to the mainland.

Sometimes it's so much easier to just sit Andy at the table for a meal (yes, we need a booster seat!). He doesn't like sitting in the high chair these days -- he'll take a few bites and then wiggle out of the straps and stand up .
